When the State of New Mexico began to request analytical data for compounds that did not have established analytical methods, they contacted GEL Laboratories, LLC. In order to help, we developed a proprietary analytical method to detect for these compounds at very low detection limits. We jumped into this technically advanced market with the purchase of three state-of-the-art LC/MS/MS systems dedicated to the analysis of explosives, non-standard explosive compounds and environmentally active Perchlorate.
GEL Laboratories, LLC submitted data to our client in order for the State to assess contamination impact to develop regulation criteria. This method can analyze for five non-standard explosive compounds (2,4-DANT, 2,6-DANT, 3,5-DNA, TATB and TCP). Their problem was solved by using cutting edge sample analysis and being able to provide ultra low sensitively along with exact compound speciation.
