Kelvin Tyler Joins GEL Geophysics, LLC of Marietta, GA

Marietta, Georgia -- GEL Geophysics, LLC, is pleased to announce that Mr. Kelvin Tyler has joined the firm as the Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Operations Manager for the Marietta, GA office.

Mr. Kelvin Tyler holds a BS in Business Administration from American InterContinental University (2014), and an AS in Drafting and Design Technology from Hinds College (1992). He has also achieved Master Certification in Project Management, as well as Certification in Professional Program Management.

As the Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Operations Manager for GEL Geophysics, Kelvin is responsible for SUE project management, training and supervising of field crews, QA/QC, and manpower allocation. With over 15 years of SUE experience, he uses a wide range of geophysical equipment to solve complex utility mapping problems. Kelvin has performed and managed numerous SUE investigation projects for a variety of clients, including: state DOTs, the DoD, municipalities, industries, airports, petroleum, power utilities, environmental and geotechnical firms, and railways. In addition, Kelvin has managed many Utility Impact Analysis projects specifically for GDOT, as well as prepared numerous GDOT SUE deliverables and other investigation reports.
