EPA Announces Nationwide PFAS Action Plan

On February 14th, 2019 the EPA announced their Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) Action Plan.

The EPA has announced their Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) Action Plan. The PFAS Action Plan responds to the extensive public interest and input the agency has received over the past year.  It identifies short-term solutions for addressing these chemicals and long-term strategies. Long-term, the EPA will provide the necessary tools to provide clean and safe drinking water to residents and will address PFAS at the source. GEL analyzes PFAS for drinking water, liquids, solids, tissues, and Aqueous File Forming Foam (AFFF) to support the identification, treatment, and remediation of these emerging contaminants.
