GEL Receives DoD QSM 5.1 Accreditation

GEL Laboratories, LLC has recently been accredited to DoD ELAP QSM Revision 5.1 for Perfluorinated Compounds.

GEL has extensive history supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) Environmental programs.  Recent developments in the identification of Perfluorinated Compounds have rapidly advanced the need for specialized instrumentation and capabilities.  We have developed an analytical method for analysis of these compounds based on EPA Method 537 Modified.  GEL has received DoD ELAP ISO17025:2005 accreditation for this method, and we are fully accredited to QSM Revision 5.1.

In 2009, the EPA classified Perfluorinated chemicals (PFCs), also known as per- and poly-fluorinated alkyl substances (PFASs), as emerging environmental contaminants based on increasing regulatory interest, potential risk to human health and the environment, and evolving regulations.

Our dedicated team of chemists are ready to provide guidance prior to your project mobilization, allowing for our continued ability to provide the analytical data on time and meeting all of the project quality objectives.
