Standard method lacked required sensitivity
A client needed to analyze for perchlorate in water samples at concentrations that were well below the detection limit of Method 314, the EPA standard method. GEL developed a novel LC/MS/MS method that was 100 times more sensitive than the standard method and, as a bonus, had more specificity.
