Testing for Lead in Drinking Water

Lead can enter your home when lead plumbing materials (i.e. faucets, pipes, fittings and the solder that holds them together) become corroded and begin to release lead into the water.

According to the EPA, corrosion is most likely to happen when water has a high acid or low mineral content and has contact with pipes for several hours.  At GEL we have the capability and proven expertise to provide you with accurate and precise testing for lead in drinking water. If you have questions or would like a quote for this service, please contact our Marketing Department at (843) 556-8171 or e-mail us at [email protected].  We will be glad to help you determine the proper analytical test method to address your concerns.
