Brian P. Haliena Receives Professional Engineer License

GEL Engineering, LLC is pleased to announce that Brian P. Haliena, P.E. recently received his Professional Engineer license from the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation Board.  Mr. Haliena is an Engineer in GEL’s Civil Engineering Group.

Mr. Haliena has over five years of experience providing environmental and civil engineering services including industrial wastewater treatment, hazardous waste management, multi-media permitting and compliance, subsurface contaminant transport, environmental remediation, stormwater design, and construction management.  He has been involved in multiple civil site development and environmental projects for the commercial and industrial sectors, including former industrial brownfield sites, waterfront terminals, industrial chemical facilities, and a hazardous waste landfill.  While at GEL, Brian has assisted these types of clients with a range of projects, including environmental assessments, civil site redevelopment of brownfield sites, spill response and environmental remediation, and wastewater engineering and permitting.    He holds a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Auburn University and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Clemson University.
