Organic Chemistry
We offer volatile and semivolatile organic analyses, employing methodologies such as SW-846 and EPA 600 for low-level volatile organics, utilizing a suite of GC/MS instruments.
Our capabilities extend to the analysis of pesticides, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), herbicides, as well as gasoline, diesel, and oil range organics, employing methods such as SW-846, EPA 600, and EPA 500. We utilize a combination of 7 dual GC/ECD and 6 GC/FID instruments for these analyses.
We offer specialty analysis of Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) compounds, utilizing 7 dedicated LC-MS/MS instruments.
GEL is equipped for the analysis of explosives and perchlorate, employing 3 LC-MS/MS instruments. We cover the standard SW-846 8330B explosives, including PETN and nitroglycerin, and have developed specific methods for 2,4-DNT, 2,6-DNT, 3,5-DNA, TATB, and tris(o-cresyl) phosphate.
Inorganic Chemistry
We perform an extensive array of metal analyses, adhering to SW-846 and the EPA 200 series, employing a combination of 5 ICP-MS, 4 ICP, and 3 CVAA instruments.
Our services include an extensive TCLP area, designed to handle large projects falling under SW-846 1311, SW-846 1312, and California STLC protocols.
We also offer low-level mercury analysis through EPA method 1631E, utilizing 2 CVAF instruments.
Our capabilities include a range of supporting chemistry methods, including ion chromatography for anion analysis in line with SW-846 and EPA 300 methods.
We provide other general chemistry methods including but not limited to analysis of total halides, total carbon, phenols, and nutrients through a variety of wet chemistry procedures, aligning with SW-846, EPA, and ASTM methods.
